What's provided inside the caravans?
Our caravans are a simple design, including basic facilities such as:
Microwave
Stove top
Toaster
Jug
Plates and Bowls
Cutlery
TV
Heaters
You are to bring your own bedding, including;
Pillows
Duvet
Blankets
Our bed include a mattress protector and a fitted sheet for hygiene purposes.
What Facilities are at Tapu Camp?
Our camp has a range of clean and tidy facilities, including;
BBQ area
Communual Kicthen
Fish Filleting Benches
Laundry Facilities (Wash $4 and Dry $4)
Toilet and Shower blocks (Showers - $1 for 5 minutes of hot water)
Boat parking ($10 per stay)
Boat wash
Dump station
Recycling and rubbish area
Can I park my boat at the campground?
Yes, Tapu Camp offers two areas for boat parking, accommodating over 50 boats.
We also have a boat wash facility to wash your boat after a big day of fishing.
Do you allow dogs at the campground?
Yes, but under certain circumstances.
Dogs are only permitted on the site if they are registered and fully vaccinated.
Dogs are also only allowed for non-powered and powered bookings. There are NO DOGS PERMITTED for caravan, annex, or cabin bookings (even if you insist they will stay in your car, this is not permitted).
What is Check-in and Check-out time?
At Tapu Camp, all accommodation check-in time is 2 pm onwards and check-out time is 10 am or before. If you have any queries about this, please contact us.
